Video shows two Lakeland officers hitting teen

On May 29, two Lakeland police officers were seen on video beating a teenager after repeatedly trying to get him to leave an apartment complex. Police said the teen entered the complex and asked her to leave twice. The teen put his hand in front of the officer's face and tensed up after being grabbed by the other officer, according to an arrest report. The two officers then struck the boy, with one using his Taser on him, the report states. The teen was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries and is now facing several charges. His mother said she wanted justice for her son.
