Vida Fitness launches new gym in Reston Row, near tube station

Vida Fitness in Reston is now open.

The new 50,000 square foot facility, which spans three levels of an office tower located at 1845 Reston Row Plaza, held its soft opening last Saturday (May 25), according to a spokesperson.

The gym is within walking distance of the Wiehle-Reston East metro station and has a host of amenities, including a day spa, rooftop pool and lounge, bar and full-service cafe full lobby, hair salon, workspaces, sauna rooms, facilities for oxygen treatment and strength recovery, and more, on the gym's website.

The studio is still offering membership deals to residents within a 10-mile radius, and newcomers can schedule a free tour. It offers parking validation for three hours on weekdays and eight hours on weekends during the pool season, which runs from May to September.

Vida Fitness operates six other locations in the DC area, but its only other Virginia location is in Ballston.

The gym is located in the Reston Row neighborhood of Reston Station, the sprawling mixed-use development that Comstock built around the subway station. The developer celebrated a milestone in early May when it “finished” construction on a JW Marriott Hotel and Residences that is expected to be completed next spring.

Reston Row will also be home to Ebbitt House and Noku Sushi restaurants, Puttshack mini golf course and Tous les Jours French bakery. Once fully constructed, the district will include 1.5 million square feet of development, including residential and office buildings.
