Victims Identified in Marathon County Double Shooting | WSAU News/Talk 550 AM · 99.9 FM

TOWN OF EASTON, WI (WSAU) — The victims of a double shooting in the Town of Easton have been identified.

Patrick J. Eppolite, 63, and Valerie J. McCarthy, 53, were found dead from gunshot wounds on May 28. Police say the shooting was related to domestic violence, adding that both men lived in the home.

Authorities were alerted to the incident by a neighbor who noticed a person sitting in a vehicle on the property overnight. They requested a social check when they noticed that the person had not moved or changed position in the vehicle for several hours.

Officers add that the investigation is complete and no further information will be released.
