Victim of fatal two-car accident identified

WARE, Mass. (WWLP) – The victim of a fatal crash in Ware on Sunday has been identified.

According to Northwest District Attorney spokeswoman Laurie Loisel, the crash occurred in the area of ​​Route 9 and Anderson Road in Ware at 5:45 p.m. The passenger, 21, . Joseph Lynch de Monson died in the accident. A 20-year-old Warren man who was driving the car was transported by helicopter to UMass Medical Center in Worcester with serious injuries.


Two people from Ware in the other vehicle involved were transported to Baystate Medical Center for their injuries, but are expected to escape unharmed.
