Victim of fatal stabbing in West Springfield identified

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The victim of a fatal stabbing Saturday in West Springfield has been identified.

On Saturday around 10:02 p.m., officers were called to the area of ​​Amostown Road and Kings Highway for reports of a stabbing. In the area, police located a victim of the incident and began first aid and CPR. He was taken to Baystate Medical Center for his injuries, but died.

The Hampden County Prosecutor's Office identified the victim as 50 years old. Joseph Seymour from west Springfield.
