Victim of fatal Jefferson County crash identified

Updated 1:33 p.m.: The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office says the crash on US-24 left at least one person dead. The sheriff's office said a vehicle was traveling east and left the road, striking and catching fire on a utility pole.

WILLIAMSTOWN (KSNT) – The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is on the scene of a crash near Williamstown on US-24.


On Thursday, June 6 at 11 a.m., the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office was called to reports of an accident at 14828 US-24. The sheriff's office said the crash happened near Underwood Cemetery, east of Williamstown.

The Kansas Highway Patrol identified the crash victim as Ethan W. Fishera 24-year-old man from Holton, in an accident log.
