A woman who was found dead yesterday in the Niagara town of Lincoln has been identified by police.

Niagara Regional Police said the victim was found shortly after 3 p.m. in a rural area near 19th Street and 7th Avenue.

Detectives identified the woman as Jessica Lynn St. Jules, 27, of Hamilton.

Police say Jessica is known to have connections in the Hamilton and Halton areas.

The cause of death is unknown at this time.

Investigators are asking anyone with information or who may have had contact with Jessica in the past week to contact them at (905) 688-4111, option 3, ext. 3. 1009482.
