The U.S. Marshal Service and the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office need your help locating two individuals wanted on weapons-related offenses, among other charges.

Michael Black, the U.S. Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, said getting these people off the streets quickly and safely is of the utmost importance.

“Typically, when these people are here committing these gun crimes, they’re likely going to do it again,” Black said. “So our goal is to get them off the streets, keep as many illegal guns out of our communities as possible and bring these individuals to justice.”

Chad Green and Marie Edwards are both wanted by the US Marshal Service.

Green Chad

Green, 31, faces a number of charges, including carrying a concealed weapon and possession of weapons by reason of disability. In this case, Green is a convicted felon, which makes him ineligible to own a firearm.

  • Age: 31
  • Height: 5'10”
  • Weight: 200 pounds

Marie Edwards

Edwards, 19, faces charges including carrying a concealed weapon and misuse of a firearm in a motor vehicle. At the time of her arrest, she was not of legal age to own a firearm.

  • Age: 19
  • Height: 5’4”
  • Weight: 160 pounds

Black said that in both cases, they want to move quickly to bring these individuals to justice.

“When we get a report from the community that they’ve identified the issue, we respond to that report immediately,” Black said. “We don’t wait.”

He asks that if you see something, say something.

“We can’t do this alone,” Black said. “We’re always looking to partner with the community and seek their help to get around their cities or rid their communities of violent criminals.”

Black said if you see any of these people, do not approach them because they may be armed and dangerous. Instead, you can submit a tip to the US Marshal Service via the tip line at 614-469-5540, its website usmarshals.gov or the USMS Tips app.
