US Driver Films Human Trafficking, Helps Save Children in Atlanta

This story may seem straight out of a Hollywood blockbuster that ended with a happy ending for several children on the brink of a bleak future.

A brave driver foiled a human trafficking operation after noticing a suspicious sight on a busy highway in Atlanta, US. The driver, whose quick thinking and courageous actions saved many lives, spotted what appeared to be a hand or body part dangling from an economy rental truck. He then began recording it as he followed the truck.

On Friday morning, the driver, later identified as Atlanta-based Langston Proper, noticed the strange sight and immediately contacted law enforcement while recording the unfolding incident on his phone. Proper provided critical updates to both police and his social media followers as he cautiously followed the truck from downtown Atlanta to Gwinnett County near Lake Lanier.

Proper later shared the ordeal in a heartfelt post on Facebook. “My day yesterday started as I was going through the normal flow of a #tgif to become the good #marvel hero who saves humans from trafficking. I never thought I would have seen this right in front of my eyes and not just in films or by hearing about it by word of mouth.

“My ancestors and GOD told me not to stop, not to give in and not to give up. Stay with them, we will guide you and protect you along the way. »

Real-time updates and continuous communication with law enforcement allowed authorities to effectively intercept the truck. After stopping the rental truck, authorities discovered a group of children being smuggled.

Thanks to Proper’s vigilant action, the rental truck driver was arrested and the trafficked children were rescued, putting an end to this dangerous operation. Footage captured by Proper shows the dramatic moment law enforcement surrounded and stopped the truck, ensuring the safety of the children inside.
