Urgent call for help to find missing teenager who failed to show up for work

The family of a missing teenager from Oldham have launched a desperate appeal for help to find him. Dillon Duffy's mother Donna is “worried sick” after her son went missing yesterday (Tuesday June 18).

She said she dropped him off near the Asda supermarket on Milne Street at around 8am. Donna said he was supposed to go to work from there, but she never showed up.




The 18-year-old's phone “ringed” at Manchester Piccadilly station around 3.25pm ​​yesterday afternoon, Donna said, but his phone has been switched off since.

Donna said he may have traveled to London Euston, with his father heading south to try and find him.

Addressing the Manchester Evening News, the mother said she was going through “every parent's worst nightmare” as she urged her son to “please contact us”. Donna added: “I dropped him off at Asda in Chadderton and he was supposed to go to work at 8am, which was across the road.

“But he didn’t come to work. That’s the last time I saw him.

“I think the police said his phone was rung in Manchester Piccadilly at 3.25pm ​​and that's it… we haven't seen anything else since. His phone has been switched off ever since.”
