Yasser Ramadan, 15, was last seen around 2pm in the town of Tralee on Thursday June 6.

The teenager was described as being around 5ft 7ins tall and with a slim build.

He was last seen wearing a black tracksuit and white trainers.

He has dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Police today launched an urgent appeal for information on the whereabouts of Yasser Ramadan.

And they urged anyone who may have details to come forward at Tralee Garda Station or contact them on the confidential line on 1800 666 111 or at any Garda station.

Separately, the concerned sister of a missing woman, who has not been seen since Friday, has launched an urgent appeal for help.

Mairead Christie, 30, has been missing since Friday evening and her phone is switched off.

Mairead is 5 feet 3 inches tall, has a slim build with brown-blonde hair and green-blue eyes.

She was last seen at her home in Finglas, Dublin 11 at around 6pm and was possibly traveling in a silver Hyundai i40 car.

Her sister launched an urgent appeal on social media because her family “is very worried about her”.

URGENT ADVOCACY

She said: “I honestly never thought I would post a post like this.

“My sister Mairead Christie has not been contacted or seen since 7pm on Friday evening 07.06.24 and her phone has been switched off since this evening. Her family is very worried about her.

“She is a loved character with many friends and we hope this message can reach her wider friends to let us know where she is and that she is doing well.

“It’s completely out of character for her to not contact us or tell us where she is.

“Her closest friends haven't seen or heard from her either, so if you could please share this message to help us reach wider friends we would really appreciate it.

“Or please contact us if you have any information.”
