Urgent appeal for missing teenager who failed to show up for work

A teenager's family is desperate for help to find him. Dillon Duffy, missing since Tuesday June 18, left his mother “worried and ill” following his unexplained disappearance.

His mother, Donna, expressed her fears, saying that after dropping him off near the Asda supermarket on Milne Street in Oldham at around 8am, he never made it to work as planned.

Dillon's phone was later traced to Manchester Piccadilly station around 3:25 p.m. the same day, but has since been switched off, according to Donna.

The distressed mother suggested he might have gone to London Euston and his father was making arrangements to pick him up south, the Manchester Evening News reports.

In conversation with the Manchester Evening News team, Donna described her situation as “every parent's worst nightmare”.

In a call to her son, she begged him to “please contact us”, adding: “I dropped him off at Asda in Chadderton and he was supposed to go to work at 8am, from other side of the road. But he didn't come for work.

“I think the police said his phone was rung in Manchester Piccadilly at 3.25pm and that's it… we haven't seen anything else since. His phone has been switched off ever since.”
