Update: Woman shot and killed in Mandeville identified

The woman who was shot and killed Saturday in Mandeville has been identified.

She is Dezesha Falconer, 29, otherwise known as “Drama”, a resident of Burnt Savannah in St Elizabeth.

Falconer was reportedly an exotic dancer.

According to reports, Falconer and a man were at a commercial establishment in the busy city when men traveling in a Toyota Axio car arrived and opened fire on the two.

The men then left the scene at full speed.

The injured were taken to hospital where Falconer was pronounced dead.

Police are investigating reports that the man, who had several run-ins with the law in the past, may have been the target of the shooters who carried out the armed attack in the neighborhood.
