UPDATE: Thursday's stabbings were self-inflicted | The star

Emergency responders were called to a residence in the 100 block of East Washington Street in Auburn around 4:15 p.m. Thursday.

At the scene Thursday, police said the subject was speaking with emergency responders at the scene.

Yellow police tape surrounded the scene, located a few blocks east of North Main Street.

Auburn police, firefighters and Parkview EMS responded. Indiana State Police and the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office also responded to the scene.
