UPDATE Police seek to identify witness to bottle shop robbery IDENTIFIED

ACT Police are seeking to identify a man who witnessed a robbery at a Bonner bottle store earlier this year.

On Friday, April 12, 2024, at approximately 7 p.m., three boys rushed into the BWS Bottle Shop located on Mabo Boulevard, Bonner, before allegedly stealing a large quantity of alcohol.

Police understand the man tried to stop one of the boys from leaving the store, leading to a brief fight.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, with a medium build, brown hair and a beard. He was wearing a green t-shirt, black pants and flip-flops at the time of the incident.

Police would like to speak to the man regarding the incident, or anyone who can identify the man, emphasizing that he is not a suspect and is not in any trouble.
