'Uninhabitable conditions': Infant removed from home and 3 people arrested following child pornography investigation in New Caney

NEW CANEY, TX – An infant was removed from a New Caney home after authorities found him in what they described as “uninhabitable conditions” after executing a search warrant as part of an investigation into the promotion and distribution of child pornography.

The Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable's Office said multiple agencies executed the search warrant at the home.

When authorities arrived at the home, they found conditions to be uninhabitable, with urine and animal feces covering the floor.

“The conditions resulted in the dispatch of the Woodlands Fire Department HAZMAT team, as well as Child Protective Services. An infant was discovered in the house, as well as several animals. The infant was removed from the home by CPS and the animals were safely removed by Montgomery County Pct. 2 Constable’s Office and Montgomery County Animal Control,” the constable’s office said.

Three people were arrested as part of the investigation.

The constable's office says Robert Craig Walker was linked to the promotion and possession of thousands of images depicting sexual assaults on infants and toddlers. He is charged with five counts of promoting/distributing child pornography, child endangerment and animal cruelty.

Additionally, Frances Walker and Leigh Baker were charged with animal cruelty and child endangerment.

All three were taken to the Montgomery County Jail. Robert Walker is being held on $170,500 bail. Francis Walker and Leigh Baker are being held on $25,750 bail.
