Undercover operation targeting 'Johns' results in 15 arrests

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – A sting operation by five local law enforcement agencies resulted in the arrest of 15 people on charges of soliciting a prostitute, among other charges.

Last Friday and Saturday, members of several law enforcement agencies, including the DPR Human Exploitation and Trafficking Unit, conducted an operation targeting the so-called “Johns” in the area of Reno with the help of undercover detectives.

Three subjects did not receive a misdemeanor citation, either because they had additional charges or because they did not meet the requirements for a citation.

The following people were arrested for various crimes:

Tazman Carter was arrested for obstructing/resisting, attempted sexual enticement, luring a child using a computer to engage in sexual conduct, attempted child abuse for sexual exploitation, attempted use or authorization of a minor for sexual depiction.
Matthew Dearborn was arrested for solicitation of a child for prostitution and attempted child abuse for sexual exploitation.
Shawn Jordan was arrested for solicitation of prostitution and obstruction and resistance.
Donnell Loving was arrested for solicitation of a prostitute.
Edgar Geovanni Lara-Martinez was arrested for solicitation of a prostitute.
Jorge Alberto Guevara-Leiva was cited for solicitation of a prostitute.
Alexander Lorenzo-Martinez was cited for solicitation of a prostitute.
Arturo Pena was cited for solicitation of a prostitute.
Alex Guardo was cited for solicitation of a prostitute.
Neil Deering was cited for solicitation of a prostitute.
Thomas Matthews was cited for solicitation of a prostitute.
Peter Revelle was cited for solicitation of a prostitute.
That Ngo was cited for solicitation of a prostitute.
Joseph Ensign was cited for solicitation of a prostitute.
Steven Beardon was cited for solicitation of a prostitute.
