Two Shreveport residents arrested on homicide charges in Bossier Parish

Bossier Sheriff's Office detectives are investigating the shooting death of an elderly Shreveport man who was killed shortly before 7 p.m. at a residence in a neighborhood just south of Benton.

Detectives say the victim had just pulled into the driveway of the residence and exited his vehicle when a suspect identified as a black man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt approached him and shot him several times in the upper body. Rescue measures were taken by neighbors before emergency services arrived, but were unsuccessful and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
