Two people arrested on firearms charges in Montara | Local News






San Mateo County Sheriff's deputies arrested two men on gun charges after midnight Saturday in Montara. Officers were responding to complaints about a disruptive party when they spotted a vehicle linked to a previous crime, according to a news release from the sheriff's office. Officers identified two men associated with the vehicle and briefly held them at gunpoint after the suspects searched their pockets when officers approached, according to the release.

Further investigation revealed that one suspect, Paris France Davis, 27, of Santa Ana, who is a convicted felon with an active warrant from the Los Angeles Police Department, possessed two loaded Glock automatic firearms. He was charged with carrying a concealed firearm in a vehicle and possessing a firearm and ammunition as a felon.
