Two people arrested after man stabbed to death in Deptford

Two people have been arrested after a man was stabbed to death in Deptford, south-east London.

The man, in his 20s, was found with a fatal knife wound at the scene on Carteret Way at around 10.35pm on Thursday.

Police and paramedics attended to the victim but, despite their best efforts, he died at the scene. The man's family has been informed of his death.

Scotland Yard said three men had been arrested on suspicion of murder and remained in custody. A crime scene remains in place in the residential area.
