Two Palm Beach County school officials arrested and released last year to start new jobs

Two Palm Beach County school officials who were arrested and released last year will soon begin working in the district. Palm Beach Central High School's former principal – Darren Edgecomb – and the school's former assistant principal – Daniel Snider – have been charged with failing to report a sexual assault case between two students. Three other school employees were also arrested. The State Attorney's Office later dropped charges against Edgecomb, and a judge granted Snider's motion to dismiss his charges. At a meeting last week, the school board approved Edgecomb to become charter school principal next month. Snider will work as an assistant principal at Royal Palm Beach Community High School, but it is unclear when he will start.
