Two men hospitalized after separate stabbings, fight

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Officers with the Rochester Police Department were called to two separate stabbings Friday evening. Officers say a man in his 30s was stabbed on North Street near Hudson Avenue shortly before 10:30 p.m. When officers arrived on scene, they said the victim had lacerations to both arm. AMR took the victim to Strong Memorial Hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening.

Officers received reports of a fight and learned that a man had been stabbed on Saratoga Avenue shortly after 11 p.m. Once officers arrived on scene, they saw a group of people fighting in the street. Officers say after the fighting broke up, a man in his 20s reported being stabbed in the upper body. The victim was transported to SMH and his injuries are not life-threatening.

The RPD has no suspects in custody for either incident, and anyone with information is asked to call 911.
