Two men arrested in Wythe County drug case

WYTHE COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) – Two men were arrested after a drug bust in Wythe County on Friday, May 31.

Cerrone Lemar Lee and Christian Skye Crockett face multiple charges including distribution of cocaine over 10 grams, 3 counts of drug conspiracy, distribution of over 100 grams of methamphetamine, distribution of Schedule I mushrooms and escape .

When Wythe County deputies initiated a traffic stop, suspects Lee and Crockett failed to stop for police, leading them on a chase through Wytheville, according to the Wythe County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies and officers were able to apprehend the suspects on Railroad Avenue, according to the Wythe County Sheriff's Office.

Christian Skye Crockett fled on foot but was apprehended by police, according to the Wythe County Sheriff's Office.

Wythe County deputies learned the following from the investigation:

  • 558 grams of methamphetamine
  • 58 grams of cocaine
  • 29 grams of mushrooms
  • large quantity of fentanyl pills
  • $4,139 in cash

The Wythe County Sheriff's Office said the suspects will face additional charges.

The investigation is still ongoing and Wythe County deputies expect more arrests and charges.
