The repercussions of the Israeli war and genocide in Gaza continued on all fronts, this time inside Israel, where two Israeli soldiers were stabbed by a Palestinian assailant.

Israeli media, citing medical sources, said two people were injured in a stabbing attack in the town of Karmiel in the Upper Galilee in northern Israel.

According to reports, one of the two Israelis who were stabbed is in critical condition, while the other was seriously injured.

According to a doctor quoted by Israeli radio, the injured were two soldiers.

Israeli police said the attacker had been “liquidated,” adding that they were conducting search and sweep operations to find other possible suspects.

Israel's Channel 12 news said police and the Shin Bet were investigating Operation Karmiel, and that “it was unclear whether it had a domestic or criminal context.”

It was later reported that police had identified the perpetrator, launched an investigation, prevented the publication of details and were now heading towards an Arab village near Karmiel in the Shaghour region.

Since the start of the Israeli war on Gaza, which has killed and injured more than 120,000 Palestinians, violence has erupted in other parts of the occupied West Bank and inside Israel.

This is a developing story.
