Two injured in stabbing outside Tottenham chicken shop

A man and a 17-year-old boy were injured in a stabbing attack on a north London main road on Sunday evening.

Police were called to a stabbing on West Green Road, Tottenham, at around 9.15pm and found two people injured.

Photos from the scene showed a police cordon outside the Chicken Excel restaurant. Forensic officers could be seen removing what appeared to be a large knife.

The 20-year-old man was taken to hospital by paramedics where his injuries were deemed “non-life threatening”. Police did not specify the nature of his injuries.

A knife was found at the scene.

The boy, aged 17, was found with stab wounds, police said.

He was also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

He was arrested in connection with the incident.
