Two dead, another seriously injured in Springfield knife attack

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Two women are dead and a man is seriously injured after a stabbing incident in Springfield Sunday morning.

According to Springfield Police spokesman Ryan Walsh, police were called to Marion Street around 11:25 a.m. Sunday for a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, officers discovered two adult victims, females, and one male, suffering from stab wounds.

The female victims died at the scene and the male victim was transported to Baystate Medical Center with serious injuries.

A suspect has been arrested. The Springfield Homicide Unit and the Hampden District Attorney's Office are investigating the incident.
