Chatham EMS says it happened on Quacco Road

Chatham County firefighters battled a blaze that ravaged two mobile homes Sunday afternoon. In a Facebook post, Chatham EMS firefighters said they were dispatched after 3 p.m. Sunday to Quacco Road. First aid arrived in less than a minute. When they arrived, they found a mobile home on fire and another smoking. They were able to put out the fire in the first trailer and limit the damage to the second trailer. Fortunately, Chatham EMS says the homeowner was able to escape the home before the flames took over.

CHATHAM COUNTY, Georgia —

Chatham County firefighters battled a blaze that ravaged two mobile homes Sunday afternoon.

In a Facebook post, Chatham EMS firefighters said they were dispatched after 3 p.m. Sunday to Quacco Road. First aid arrived in less than a minute.

When they arrived, they found a mobile home on fire and another smoking. They were able to extinguish the fire in the first trailer, and limit the damage to the second trailer.

Fortunately, Chatham EMS says the homeowner was able to escape the home before the flames took over.
