Authorities on the Greek island of Symi say the body found on its rocky coast has been identified as that of missing British television personality Dr Michael Mosley. His identification was confirmed by personal items found nearby.

Officials told The Sun that the identification was possible thanks to the presence of Dr Mosley's watch and clothing found near a treacherous cave system known to locals as “the Abyss”.
