Tulsa police say 2 juveniles injured after stabbing | News

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa police said two juveniles went to the hospital after being stabbed Friday.

Tulsa police told FOX23 at the scene that the initial call was a shooting, but it then escalated to a stabbing with possible gunfire.

Three people, two brothers and a cousin, were involved in the incident. All three are juveniles, police said.

When Tulsa police officers arrived on scene near East 31st Street and South 145th Avenue, they found the victim, one of the brothers, stabbed multiple times in the stomach, face and neck.

The other brother fired shots into the air, police said.

The suspect, the cousin, fled the scene and was caught nearby. Police said she was also injured during the altercation.

Police said the incident appeared to be an argument over a person's haircut and non-payment, which escalated into a stabbing followed by gunfire.

The suspect and stabbing victim went to the hospital but are expected to be OK.

They will all be questioned later.
