WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Hello! It will be a fairly mild start to Tuesday with clear skies and a touch of humidity.

Temperatures become warm again in the afternoon. High temperatures will be around 90° for most sunny locations. There is a slight risk of isolated showers further inland this evening. Most see another hot, dry day in South Florida.

Fortunately, the rest of the week presents a good chance of rain each afternoon.

On Wednesday there will still be isolated storm risks as a high pressure system begins to move away from us.

A cold front begins to move south and parks near the panhandle. This will create an unstable environment leading to a better chance of storms in the afternoon.

Thursday and Friday will be the most active days, with scattered showers and storms starting in the afternoon.

The temperatures will not be pleasant, which will fuel these storms a little. Highs return to the lower and mid 90s by Thursday. Highs remain in the 90s through next weekend with a chance of isolated storms.

By the end of the weekend, precipitation totals will range from 0.5″ to a possible inch. This is desperately needed as we are still so dry on the drought monitor.
