Triad woman arrested in connection with shooting

A woman has been arrested in connection with a shooting that left one person injured, according to the Burlington Police Department. Police were called to an altercation on South Mebane Street around 6:30 p.m. Monday. During the altercation, a 36-year-old woman was shot, police said. Bond, 37, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, discharging a firearm within city limits and misdemeanor domestic violence. Bond is in custody at the Alamance County Detention Center without bond.
