High Point man faces more than 40 felony charges involving juveniles, and already accused of human trafficking, detectives say

THIS IS BREAKING NEWS. We have two stories breaking right now at midday. FIRST, AN INMATE AT THE ROCKINGHAM COUNTY JAIL IS ACCUSED OF attempting to arrange the murders of two people while behind bars. FLIPPEN, 21, IS CHARGED WITH TWO COUNTS OF FELONY SOLICITATION TO COMMIT FIRST DEGREE MURDER. INVESTIGATORS SAY HE TRIED TO HIRE KALISHA ANDERSON, 25, AND A JUVENILE TO KILL ONE OF HIS ASSOCIATES, ALONG WITH A LAWYER. DURING THE INVESTIGATION, SEVERAL PEER WARRANTS WERE EXECUTED, RESULTING IN THE SEIZURE OF SEVERAL ELECTRONIC DEVICES, COCAINE AND AN AR 15 RIFLE. A NEW ROSS DISTRIBUTION CENTER IS ALSO COMING TO RANDOLPH COUNTY. GOVERNOR COOPER'S OFFICE ANNOUNCED THAT THE COMPANY WILL BUILD A FACILITY IN RANDLEMAN. THIS WILL BRING MORE THAN 800 NEW JOBS AND IS EXPECTED TO CONSTITUTE AN INVESTMENT OF $450 MILLION IN THE REGION. NO WORD ON A TIMELINE FOR THE CENTER'S OPENING. THIS HAPPENS NOW.
