Travis Scott Arrested For Drunk Disorderly Conduct In Miami Beach

Topline

Rapper Travis Scott was arrested early Thursday morning and charged with disorderly intoxication and trespassing after a warning in Miami Beach, police records show.

Key Facts

Scott, whose legal name is Jacques Bermon Webster II, paid a $650 lease after being booked and is expected to be released Thursday morning, according to Florida ABC station Local 10.

Police responded to a disturbance at the Miami Beach Marina at about 12:45 am Thursday morning, 7 News Miami reported, where Scott was causing a disturbance after departing a charter boat.

Scott has been arrested several times before, including twice on charges related to inciting a crowd—he was arrested at Lollapalooza in 2015 for encouraging fans to jump barriers and in 2017 for prompting fans to overrun security at a show.

Scott was last year accused of punching a sound technician in the face during a performance at a nightclub in New York City but was not arrested and his attorney later said the incident was a “misunderstanding.”

Neither the Miami Beach Police Department nor representatives for Scott responded immediately to Forbes' request for comment Thursday.
