Three Texas men apprehended in connection with Memorial Day killing of military veteran in North Texas | Texas

DENTON, TX — In a shocking turn of events, three men are now in the custody of Denton police, following a Memorial Day investigation into the stabbing of a 62-year-old military veteran.

The victim was working at a convenience store in the 4000 block of Teasley Lane early Monday morning when two masked men, later identified as Ryan Alvarez, 20, of Argyle, and Julian Bustillos, 20, of Denton, entered . and demanded money. During the robbery, Bustillos allegedly stabbed the victim multiple times in the abdomen. Alvarez and Bustillos then fled with cash, vaping products and a case of beer, fleeing in a vehicle driven by a third suspect, Edgar Cuevas, 20, of Krum.
