Three people stabbed at West Valley City TRAX station

WEST VALLEY CITY, UT (ABC4) — Three people were injured after a stabbing at a TRAX station in West Valley City Tuesday afternoon.

Mike Varanakis with the Utah Transit Authority told ABC4.com the suspect was arrested and there was no active threat. The incident – ​​which Varanakis said was isolated – happened around 4:20 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

The attack happened on the platform of a TRAX station in West Valley City. Varanakis said there have been no delays in TRAX service.

Varanakis confirmed there were three victims and they were all taken to hospital in unknown condition.

Authorities have not yet released information on the patients' conditions or what led to the stabbing.
