Three people hospitalized after violent accident in Sandersville

The occupants were airlifted to trauma and burn centers.

SANDERSVILLE, Ga. — Three people are injured after a fiery crash in Sandersville, according to a Facebook post from the Sandersville Police Department.

They say around 11 p.m. Saturday, Sandersville Police, Sandersville Fire, Washington County Emergency Medical Services and the Washington County Sheriff's Office responded to South Hospital Road near Alfred C. Carson Drive, after an accident.

There was only one treatment involved.

A van was found fully engulfed in flames and split in two, located in two different locations.

They say all three occupants were ejected from the car.

They were airlifted to trauma and burn centers.

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the crash.
