Three people arrested on drug charges after search warrant in Troy

TROY, NY (NEWS10) – Detectives with the Troy Police Special Operations Section have arrested three suspects accused of selling heroin laced with fentanyl. On June 6, around noon, Troy Police detectives conducted a search warrant at a home on June 5th Avenue in Lansingburgh after a lengthy investigation into reported drug sales at the residence.

Three suspects were taken into custody without incident Thursday, all three were taken to Central Station for processing and held for appearance in Troy Municipal Court. Police identified the suspects as David L. Arrington, 58, of Troy, Robert M. Murray, 59, of Troy, and Laura J. White-Pullen, 54, of Troy.

During the search, positive evidence for both heroin and fentanyl was found.

The three men all face the following charges:

  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance – Intent to Sell (3rd Degree)
  • Criminal possession of a narcotic (4th Degree)
  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (7th Degree)

Detectives received several tips from concerned community members who assisted in the investigation. Detectives confirmed the facts necessary to support the issuance of a court-ordered search warrant for the residence and suspected drug dealers.

These arrests demonstrate Troy Police detectives' continued pursuit of dangerous drug dealers in our community. They hope that these arrests will serve as a deterrent to those who choose to sell narcotics in neighborhoods and that the confiscation of this fentanyl-laced heroin will prevent harm to anyone who might otherwise have come into contact with it.
