Three people arrested in Times Square stabbing

Three people are in custody in connection with a broad daylight machete attack in Times Square Thursday, authorities said. It was unclear whether the victim knew the trio. According to the New York Police Department, she was stabbed in both legs at West 45th Street and Broadway around 10 a.m. The victim was taken to hospital and is expected to survive.
