Three injured after early morning stabbings in city | News, Sports, Jobs

A suspect is in police custody after two early morning stabbings in the city of Dunkirk.

The Dunkirk Police Department said they responded to 123 Lake Shore Drive West, Apartment C around 3:30 a.m. Thursday. Upon arrival, a suspect was located inside the apartment and was linked to the stabbing of two victims. The suspect was taken into custody.

The victims and suspect were then transported to Brooks-TLC Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries sustained during the attack. The suspect was then transported to UPMC Chautauqua in Jamestown. Once the suspect is released and charged, police said they will have more information.

The Fredonia Police Department, Dunkirk Fire Department and Alstar Ambulance assisted city police.
