Three children missing in Texas County





Texas County, Missouri. – The Texas County Sheriff's Department recently released a report on the disappearance of two children in Texas County.

On May 25, a Texas County deputy responded to a call about a young boy running away. The boy's mother said she saw her son run down the driveway and get into a dark-colored van parked on the side of the road. The woman also told the deputy that her 14-year-old son was African American. He was last seen wearing a red t-shirt and black pants. She couldn't think of anyone coming to pick him up, and the boy's father doesn't live in Missouri. The boy was reported missing. The investigation is ongoing. The boy's name is Alexander Asbury. No photos were provided.

On May 25, a deputy responded to another report of a child running away. The man and woman who called said the boy was 16 years old. His name is Jordan Hopwood and he is a foster child. He fled on the night of the 24th. His bike was still in the yard and the dog that always followed him for walks was still at the residence. The boy has been reported missing and an investigation is underway. Jordan Hopwood's photo is below. He is 5’8″ tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds. He is missing in Raymondville, Missouri.

On May 31, 2024, Ivy Pogue, a 17-year-old white female from Licking, Missouri, was reported missing. No photos were provided or any further descriptions.
