Three arrested in Litchfield Township assault: Charges include attempted murder, aggravated robbery

(KNSI) – Three arrests have been made in connection with an assault that occurred last week in Litchfield Township.

On June 26, officers responded to a roadside ditch where an Olivia man had been stabbed and hit by a vehicle. He was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center with serious injuries.

A news release from the Meeker County Sheriff's Office says Aryianna Pillatzki, 20, of Pennock, was arrested July 2. The next day, David Pillatzki, 48, of Arco, and Tre Ertl, 26, of Litchfield, were arrested. The arrests were made in Willmar and Granite Falls.

Authorities say he abducted the victim and took her to a secluded location to rob her. Charges against him include aggravated robbery and assault. Ertl is charged with attempted murder.

The investigation is ongoing. The Meeker County Sheriff's Office said it was a collaborative effort with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, sheriff's offices in Kandiyohi, Lincoln and Yellow Medicine counties, police departments in Granite Falls, Olivia, Willmar and Upper Sioux, and the CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force.

Sheriff Brian Cruze says he is grateful to all the agencies involved.
