Three Arrested in Adams County for Alleged Roxicodone Trafficking

ADAMS COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Adams County deputies say they arrested three men while they were trading hundreds of pills containing fentanyl.

Arthur Grayson, of Natchez, Quentin Pollard, of St. Francisville, Louisiana, and Alphonse Lewis, of St. Francisville, Louisiana, were arrested at the intersection of Lower Woodville Road and Grove Acres in the early morning hours of July 3, 2024. They were allegedly trafficking Roxicodone.

Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten said the three men were arrested while exchanging 652 Roxicodone pills. He added that officers also recovered $2,727 and seized two trucks.

Officers also executed a search warrant in the 700 block of Highway 61 South and seized documents, a Zosi DVR, a 2018 Ford F-150 VIN, a 2015 Ford F-350, a 2020 Chevrolet Corvette, a 2006 Honda Goldwing, a 2007 Ford F-150, a 2006 International Rollback, a 2014 International and $283.

Patten said this is the third time officers have executed a search warrant at Grayson’s home and arrested him for selling Roxicodone. The sheriff said Grayson was arrested on April 15, 2022, for trafficking Roxicodone and a Cadillac Escalade was seized. Grayson was also arrested on Jan. 4, 2024, for allegedly selling Roxicodone.

Patten said the Roxicodone pills sold by the suspects are not pharmaceutical-grade pressed pills.

“These pills contain fentanyl and I don’t know what else. These are the kinds of pills that are killing people in our country. The markup on these pills is astronomical. They will cost less than a dollar to produce and these particular pressed pills are marketed as Roxicodone 30 milligrams and can sell for $30 a pill. That gives the pills seized in this arrest an approximate street value of $19,560,” Patten said.
