Sheriff Patten said it was the 3rdrd At that time, his deputies executed a search warrant at Author Grayson's home and arrested him for selling Roxicodone.

Grayson was arrested on April 15, 2022, for Tier II drug trafficking involving Roxicodone and a Cadillac Escalade truck was seized.

He was also arrested on January 4, 2024, for sale of a Class II drug with roxicodone.

Sheriff Patten said current Prosecutor Tim Cotton has been in personal contact with the Special Operations Unit as this case has progressed. He is also in the process of submitting a motion to revoke Grayson's bail. Prosecutor Cotton is also working with his deputies on the forfeiture of assets that were seized in these cases.

Sheriff Patten explained that while these individuals are accused of selling Roxicodone, these are not pharmaceutical grade pressed pills.

“These pills contain fentanyl and I don’t know what else. These are the kinds of pills that are killing people in our country. The markup on these pills is astronomical. They will cost less than a dollar to produce and these particular pressed pills are marketed as Roxicodone 30 milligrams and can sell for $30 a pill. That gives the pills seized in this arrest an approximate street value of $19,560.”
