MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A third man has been charged in the shooting deaths of two men and a pregnant woman in Tunica County, Mississippi.

The Tunica County Sheriff's Office said Monterrius Woods, 20, was charged with four counts of capital murder, four counts of conspiracy to commit a felony, one count of shooting at driving and one count of shooting into a motor vehicle.

Woods was charged in connection with the deaths of Steven Burts, 23, Deshun Isabell, 24, and Tednequa Moore, 25, and her unborn child.

The three men were found shot to death in a burned-out car on Casino Center Drive on November 10. Because Moore was pregnant at the time of her death, authorities decided to file a capital murder charge.

The Tunica County Sheriff's Office said Woods is currently being held in the DeSoto County Jail on unrelated charges.

The sheriff's office says Deonte Taylor, 18, and Anthony “AJ” Carter, 20, also face charges in the homicide and more arrests are expected.
