Thibodaux teen escapes from Bridge City youth center

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Law enforcement is searching for a teenager who allegedly escaped from the Bridge City Youth Center.

The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office reported being notified of Blaze Crochet, 17, of Thibodaux, running away from the center. He was being held for probation violation.


Details of when he was able to escape have not been released.

According to the sheriff's office, Hook is 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs approximately 170 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes.

Hook also has outstanding warrants for his arrest in Lafourche Parish.

The TPSO Special Victims Unit is investigating and Hook has also been placed at the National Crime Information Center.
