The last American Pagani Utopia belongs to the father of the teenager who crashed the Huayra Roadster

Hopefully the 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 won't be too difficult for the new owner to handle.

  • This Utopia is number 30 of the 99 examples currently being built.
  • Its owner is billionaire businessman Tim Gillean.
  • His son, Gage Gillean, went viral in late 2020 after crashing his father's Huayra Roadster.

The latest Pagani Utopia has landed in the United States and joined the enviable collection of billionaire businessman Tim Gillean.

For those who don't know, Gillean is the co-founder of the investment company Cross Equities and his son, Gage Gillean, runs the GG Exotics channel on YouTube. The Gilleans first appeared on our radar in November 2020 when Gage, then 17, crashed his father's purple carbon fiber Pagani Huayra Roadster, the only one of its kind in the world.

The family's Utopia is just as well equipped as their old Huayra Roadster. Its exterior is bathed in a combination of white painted surfaces and exposed carbon fiber and is absolutely spectacular. Various turquoise accents, including a stripe down the center of the Italian hypercar and on the brake calipers, make it stand out even more.

Many custom touches have also been made to the interior of the car. The carbon fiber-backed bucket seats are covered primarily in sumptuous white leather with an intricate black leather pattern in the center. Plenty of satin and glossy carbon fiber is found everywhere, including the dashboard and shift paddles. Exposed aluminum parts are abundant in the Utopia and span the steering wheel, gauge cluster, central control console and transmission tunnel.

The Utopia is powered by an AMG-sourced 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 with 852 hp and 811 lb-ft (1,100 Nm) of torque. That's an extraordinary amount of power, considering the car weighs just 2,822 pounds (1,280 kg). Hopefully Gage is more careful while driving the car than his dad's Huayra Roadster and doesn't end up crashing it too. The Utopia is offered with either a seven-speed manual or a seven-speed X-trac automated manual – and this example has the latter.
