The disappearance of Terrence Woods Jr.: a gold-hunting tragedy

Oct. 15 will mark the sixth anniversary of the disappearance of a Maryland television producer in the forest of north-central Idaho after wandering away from his colleagues and ending up in the woods. What happened to Terrence Woods Jr.?

Terrence Woods Jr. has been missing since October 5, 2018. He would be 33 years old on October 24, according to Woods' Instagram page. He was with a small group of men and women filming a series about gold in the mountains of Idaho when he disappeared.

A lot of time has passed and this matter must be resolved.

Woods and his crew were filming in a rugged, mountainous region of Nez Perce Clearwater National Forest southwest of Elk City, according to a 2018 ABC News article. Since that day, no one has heard from him. Lewiston is the closest major Idaho city to the area where Woods was last seen, about 126 miles to the northwest.

Terrence regularly suffered from panic attacks, according to the details shared. Perhaps he took some time away to calm down from the stressors of working in the industry and suffered a fall or animal attack. A lot of time has passed and this matter must be resolved.
