THE Miss Teen Universe pageant aspires to make teenagers' dreams come true by ensuring little girls are fully considered, organizers have said.

Speaking ahead of the pageant's grand finale scheduled for August at ZITF Hall 2 in Bulawayo, Chidiso Francisca Mbazo, public relations manager of the Miss Teen of the Universe organization, told NewsDay Life & Style that they are planning an event bigger and better this year, adding that people should expect fireworks.

“We will have 20 contestants vying for the Miss Teen Universe crown on August 3. The crowned queen will then represent the country in India,” she said.

Mbazo added: “This pageant is mainly aimed at little girls, so our intention is to ensure that little girls are deeply cared for and taken care of. Our competition aspires to elevate the dreams of adolescents.

The pageant is an affiliation of Miss Teen of the Universe founded in India by Sourav Anad and aimed at girls aged 15 to 20.

Manungo said to enter the competition she had to be a Zimbabwean citizen with a passport, have never been married, never been involved in sex videos or nude photos, adding that models had to bring a guardian to the camp training that would do it. accompany them in case they get the opportunity to represent the country in India.

The candidates lined up to fight for the crown of Miss Teen of the Universe defend various causes such as an end to school bullying, life on earth (protection of the environment), quality education and gender equality, empowering girls, promoting inclusion (beauty in all forms) and ending sexual harassment, among others.
