Texas Man Arrested After Allegedly Having Sex With Horse – Again

PHARR, Texas (KVEO) — A man accused of having sex with a horse has been arrested for a fourth time in Texas.

Cirilo Castillo, 54, was arrested on charges of bestiality and criminal trespassing, according to Hidalgo County Jail records.

A probable cause affidavit said a Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office deputy went to a residence in Edinburg, Texas, where he met a woman.

The woman said that at 6:15 a.m. she went out to feed her horses and saw Castillo in the stable.

“She saw Cirilo standing in a chair having sex with his white mare,” the affidavit states.

According to the document, Castillo previously visited the property and was informed he was not wanted there.

“(The woman) previously had encounters with Cirilo entering her property to have sex with her horse,” the document states.

Castillo, of Edinburg, Texas, was booked into the Hidalgo County Jail on Tuesday and his bond was set at $70,000.

Previous arrests

In 2013, Castillo pleaded guilty after having sex with a horse named “India” on video. At the time, former Hidalgo County Sheriff Lupe Trevino said Castillo would continue.

“He’s going to continue to do that,” Trevino said. “People in the neighborhood are just fed up with it, we just need to do something with it.” »

In 2015, Castillo was arrested after attempting to have sex with a horse again. During this incident, he was kicked by the horse and crawled to a barn for shelter. He told authorities he was hit by a car.

Most recently, in 2022, Castillo was arrested after an owner realized someone was leaving wooden benches and chairs in his stalls. They installed surveillance cameras and noticed someone lying on the floor of the stalls. When they went to the stall, they saw Castillo toward the rear of the horse fumbling with his pants, authorities said.

Records show the case was reset to Aug. 30.
