Texas Little League Coach Sentenced to Federal Prison for Transporting Minors for Sex

LUMBERTON, Texas (KETK) – A former youth baseball player was sentenced Monday to 40 years in federal prison for child exploitation violations, the United States Attorney's Office announced.

According to a release, Adam Dale Isaacks, 40 of Lumberton, pleaded guilty to four counts of transporting a minor for the purpose of sexual activity.

Isaacks, a former youth baseball coach and president of the Evadale Little League Baseball organization, was identified as the perpetrator in multiple reports of sexual assault of minors in 2021, according to a release.

According to a news release, eight minors on Isaacs' baseball team reported being sexually assaulted by him. The age of each of the players varied between 9 and 11 years old at the time of the attacks.

The investigation revealed that Isaacs transported several minors out of state where he “engaged in illicit sexual conduct with the minor victims.”

“We expect our little league coaches to protect the children in their care; this defendant did not do so and will now serve a lengthy sentence,” said U.S. Attorney Damien M. Diggs.
